[laughs][music] You are listening to Swingology, a lifestyle podcast. Swingology is for adult entertainment only, and we're not licensed professionals. Now, let's stimulate your mind.[laughs] So we're talking about temptations, and specifically, temptations resort in Cancun, versus temptations take over crews. And we went on the Temptations Crew's February 2022. Yep. It left out of Miami, Florida. It was out. I don't know, was it? It was a four-night, five-day cruise, and then-- And the temptation staff from the resort came up and took over the whole cruise ship. So it was a swinger, friendly cruise ship. There was a playroom on board, and the themed parties at night, it wasn't like a regular celebrity cruise, because it wasn't a celebrity cruise line ship. Let's talk about that. When did we go to Temptations Resort, Steve, do you remember? I believe it was six months after the cruise. Yeah, you're right. It was a few months after the cruise. It was Thanksgiving week 22. Yep. And that's when we went to the resort, and we got to kind of see the difference between the Temptations Crews when they took over the celebrity summit, and the Temptations Resort itself. Now, luckily, when we went, and I say, luckily, because I am partial, and you guys were here in the episode, but luckily, when we went, there happened to be a Canadian lifestyle takeover at the resort. I'm so glad there was a Canadian lifestyle takeover, because if there wasn't a lifestyle takeover, it wasn't the fact that the Canadians, although I love my Canadians, it was a lifestyle takeover. We needed that, because the resort by itself, and you said this at first when we were there, and I agree with you, it was like for vanilla's kind of being naughty. It was like, pre-swingers, not yet-swingers, or something, because there's no playroom. Right, so- You can't be nude. The resort is geared towards conservative people feeling naughty because they're in a pool with topless other people. That's the whole edge of the resort. That's the naughty. That's what the naughty is. Come on, that's it. That's the naughty, topless pool area. If you're not in the lifestyle, and you haven't been to a topless bar, you haven't been to a topless pool, or you haven't been around naked people all the time, then yeah, that's going to be your new bar of naughtyness, and that resort's going to be great for you. Absolutely. If you've been to a lifestyle establishment once or twice, you're going to look at that, and you're going to be like, this is it? Yeah, so, luckily, because we went during Thanksgiving week, the reason why we went during Thanksgiving week is because we have children between the two of us, we have five kids. And that particular week, we didn't have them with us. They were going off to grandparents or other parents or somewhere else. So we were free for a week, like kid-free, and we thought, you know what? Let's get away, let's go over to Cancun. When you're on the Temptations Cruise, the entire, they had made the whole cruise topless. So, except for the dining areas. If you were in the dining area, you had to cover your pink. That was the criteria. They had brought their entertainment personnel from the resort, brought them over to the cruise ship. And so, of course, there's the DJ and there's some club, and they had garnered a bunch of volunteers for the playroom and that kind of thing. So it was good. It was a fun cruise ship. Everyone on the cruise ship was in the lifestyle, but when we went to the resort, looking at the normal clients that went to the resort, I would say not even half of them were in the lifestyle. Now, thankfully, like my wife said, the Canadian takeover was there because they were all lifestyleers. But if they weren't there, I really wonder what kind of an experience we would have had. The Canadian lifestyles, they know how to party and man, was it fun. We did pay an additional fee in order to party with them, but if we didn't party with them, we would have seen the top of the main hotel has a balcony at the very, very top of the pool. They rented that entire space out almost the entire week, I believe. And you could see there's a foam party and bubbles were just falling down. And the people that were not part of the lifestyle takeover, they were kind of like twilling their thumbs off to the side, not doing anything. Where was the party for them? And so in the main pool, if you've ever seen the resort, there's a woman at the bottom of the pool that's part of the pool floor. In that area, they've got an entertainment DJ that starts in about the afternoon and it goes on until well after sundown. And it's a pretty high intensity entertainment DJ. I actually remember it being early, baby. It was like 10 a.m. Really? It was a hard party all day long and all night long. But it was just music and dancing. You couldn't be nude out there. You couldn't have sexual acts out there. It was all very... Why remember, you could be topless. Right, but you can't go down on the man. You can go down the woman. You can't go down the woman. You can't make out and touch each other. No. So there was no that going on, at least not obviously. They did have the quiet pool, which was kind of like around the main building. So there was a little bit of a buffer, but it wasn't actually quiet. And that's the thing about lifestyle establishments and places. I don't like trying to get to know people with very loud music in the background. If I have to yell to have a conversation with people, that is not the place to try to get to know somebody and to start feeling vibes. You know what, actually, when we left the resort area, we walked down onto the beach and laid in those loungers on the sand. It was quiet down there. Our last day, because we were so tired of the party, you don't need to go for seven days. That's too much. Three days is all you need if you're going to the resort in Ken Cohn. I remember that last day we went down to the beach and we laid on a lounger for hours. And it was quieter. That's when I bought you that coconut that walked by. Yeah, you bought me coconut. So I had fresh coconut water. It was great. Thank you, babe. Let's talk about the food options on the cruise versus the resort. Obviously, the cruise, you have the Wind Jammer Cafe, which is your buffet. That's open almost the entire day, breakfast lunch dinner. And you have the fancy restaurants at dinner time. If I have a clock seating and then I was at the 7 o'clock seating or something, you have various specialty restaurants that I don't think we did any of the specialty restaurants on the cruise ship. But they're there. Actually, I do remember the specialty restaurant was down that super cold hallway. Yeah. And there was that, there was like the eight people came and sat on the table across from us and they were drunk and they were super loud. And we couldn't enjoy our time. Remember? Oh yeah. I remember the restaurant and we sat close to the kitchen, which I kind of liked. I remember I liked their dessert. What was it? Creme brulee. It's normally what I get. The restaurants are food options at the resort. Let's remember this. Flame. And I remember the last restaurant we went to was kind of like an Asian one. I remember the Sky Tower and the restaurant down by the beach. I don't remember an Asian place. Oh wait. Yes, I do. I remember now. They have an Italian restaurant? Oh yeah, the Italian restaurant. I remember that one. We liked that one, didn't we? Yes, we did. We would always get up and enjoy the breakfast. The breakfast was good. And I like how all the drinks were included. I believe they had like the top shelf you had to pay for, but then they had wells. Like they had a series of beverages, the alcoholic beverages that were included. Now, I don't know if that was because we're part of the takeover because some people did pay for drinks. I'm thinking that there was a top shelf version of things. And then the crews, same thing there. I believe the package that we had include drinks because other people had to pay. So let's talk about the nightclub at the resort versus the parties on the cruise ship. Do you remember the nightclub? It was also their sports bar drawing the day and a night. It turned into the nightclub. I just remember not being impressed. Really? It was because the party scene wasn't there. It was up at the top floor with the takeover people because they had their own area. And so 70% of that resort was the Canadian takeover. And so of course they're going to be in their own designated area. And so when we were going to the resort club area, it was kind of dead and quiet. Nothing was going on and it was always empty. And so yeah, our, I think our perception is going to be a little biased against the club dance area because it just wasn't, there wasn't, it was never active. Here's my recommendation. If you are not in the lifestyle yet and you like the idea, go without a lifestyle takeover and see how it is. But if you are heavily in the lifestyle, you're used to our type of parties, I would just say go with the takeover type of group. I think temptations is like the first step that people should be taking into the lifestyle. But if you're already well experienced in the lifestyle, don't go back to step one. There's other places you can go. Unless you're going with a group of people, like maybe you and your besties that are all in the lifestyle together and you go down there, that would be super fun. Can you imagine going with 10 of your best lifestyle friends? Yeah, I think. Yeah, I think honestly, I can't imagine a scenario where if I'm grabbing like our three best friend couples, if we just all went somewhere together, I don't care what we did, it would be an amazing time. Yeah. It would be an amazing time. I mean, we would make it amazing. This is true too. The parties on the cruise, that was fun. Okay, so I'm a little bummed about the cruise, honestly, because I had C-Sickness, 75% of the time. And so I tried my best to injure myself and I do have some fond memories, but the majority of them, it's just I was in bad trying to make it through. Yeah, she was suffering quite a bit on that cruise and it got to the point where actually you relaxed one of the boundaries that we had. Yeah, I thought, you know, I miserable. I don't want you to be miserable. You're on vacation, so I can't play or party, but I want you to go party. So you had a whole pass. Mm-hmm. That was my first hall pass experience. So for me, it was a little awkward to get the hall pass experience that way because I'm sitting there. I'm caring for my wife and it's getting late. It's like 11. And my wife hits me with this, you know, I'm just exhausted. I'm tired. I'm ill. I'm sick and just go have fun. I initially couldn't do it. I just because I wanted to be there for my wife and I couldn't, how can I leave and have fun knowing my wife is ill and sick. But, you know, she was insistent. And at some point, she fell asleep and when she fell asleep, then I felt, okay, well, she's asleep. I'm going to go now. So I like, I think I left a little note or a text to do where I was at. So every time I went to a new area on the ship in case she woke up and she felt better, she knew I was at. So no matter where I was doing, I was kind of like still updating her and everything. And I actually did meet a couple and I did play with his wife. So I did have an experience that you've been. And that was a first for them, right? Yep. They had never played with a single guy before. Yeah, you told me that they've always wanted to do the London Bridge. Yeah. The London Bridge is where there's two men facing each other and the wife is between them. And so one is penetrating her vaginally and then the other one is getting a blowjob and then they would do like a high five. And so when you do the high five, you complete the London Bridge. I love being able to check off fantasies. Oh, I love checking off fantasies for other couples or people. But Steve, tell me since I missed out on, there was a five, it was a five night cruise. I went to the very last party and I'll definitely be happy to talk about that in a moment. But I missed out on the first four nights. The parties. Tell me about that. Like on the cruise ship at night. They were wild and crazy. There's lots of people dancing, there's music, there's lots of high energy fun. But as a single guy roaming the decks, roaming the decks looking for just to have organic experiences with people that are already like vibing with other people, it was a little awkward for me. I'm not going to lie. I had to get comfortable just kind of like introducing myself to people. They would give me the cold shoulder and turn away. They would look at me a certain kind of way and you just have to be okay with that because I know the scenario. I'm a single guy walking up to a couple that doesn't, that's not going to go overwhelmed very often. But you meet the right people eventually and you get to know them, you hang out, you become friends and that's really what it's all about. All right, so the Globe Party night. The reason why I was able to go to the Globe Party night is because we were so close to sure the ship didn't need to move around. It was basically stationary and therefore I didn't feel the sea sickness. So it was phenomenal. It was out in the pool deck and everyone was in their glow tire and with their neon like, you know, flashing lights and 80, I think it was an 80's theme too. They were all like wearing 80's glow and the dark stuff. It was great music and I don't know. The vibes were just, it was lit. So the electricity going through the party. We were jumping up and down, down in the dance floor and then when we left the area, we went upstairs to like the balcony of the party scene and we were jumping up there and it was just so much fun. Lot of flirtation, lot of flirting and touching. Now I do remember, I think it was day one before the sea sickness really hit me heavy. We went to the playroom. They were having a few tutorials or classes and one of the classes. I was going to teach your class, wasn't it? That was about tantric touches. There was an instructor who asked any of the husbands for a volunteer and he came and laid on her bed, obviously completely nude and us ladies that were watching, I guess it was a full house. There's probably like, at 70 couples in there. Yeah, the every bed was occupied once, at least maybe sometimes twice. I think there were three couples in our bed. Like we were all touching each other. And she will like, this is how you touch to you know, arouse your partner and this is how you do oral. It was a great way for a large group of people to break the eyes of other people. Yeah. They had other classes that I missed. I wasn't able to go to them. But that was interesting. The temptations resort, they don't offer anything like that. They don't have a playroom. Talking about the beach between the resort and the cruise. Obviously the cruise is going to different locations so you have various styles of beaches. I took, you're probably going to go to a private island at the Bahamas and you're probably going to go to NASA or maybe Cosmell. I remember they did something special for us on the temptations cruise on the beach because we were the only docked cruise ship on that beach. They said that we could go to the beach topless. That's fun. I don't remember that. Wow. Why do I not remember that? Yeah, I remember that. That's so cool. But I do remember waking up in port. I believe it was some lobby and there's this big mountain. Because we had a balcony room outside of our window and I was like, wow, like it's, we're here because everybody just came from Miami and it's flat. And now we're in this island with this huge mountain and it's beautiful and the water is so torquoise and lovely, absolutely gorgeous. And the beach in Cancun was nice. It's also very flat. I also found it interesting that we could be topless. But the hotels on the beach, like their side by side and people and families just walk along the beach. So I remember being topless and there was a kid just walking along the beach just like, wait, should I be covering up? So Steve, out of those two vacations that we went on, temptations cruise versus temptations resort in Cancun, what is your favorite memory? My favorite memory aside from the party was there was a moment when you got overstimulated and you went to the beach and I followed you and I rubbed you back and you looked at me and you said, this is why I married you. Oh, I remember that. Yeah, stepping away from the chaos and party was refreshing and much needed. It's nice to know that there were secluded areas that we could run and have our quiet moments. Yeah. I love those moments. Yeah. Me too. I like those moments where this is going to be a different episode in the future but here's a little sneak peek. We were at a takeover at a hotel one time and he was walking across the pool dance area like the pool deck. There was dancing and I was walking on the other side. We just happened to cross paths and at the very same moment we walked around each other, kissed passionately, totally forgot where we were, opened our eyes and remembered where we were and then continued on our way with what we were doing because we were both on a mission for something else. But for that moment we lost track of where we were, just stuck in our kisses together and I was remembered. Yeah, I told her, remember that. That was crazy. How do you kiss someone and forget where you're at? Yeah. The noise, the people around, that was just all gone for a moment or just you and me kissing. I was, I love those moments. Out of those two experiences, what was or is your favorite memory? My favorite memory is partying with the Canadian takeover at the resort because we made a lot of friends. I feel like we made a good solid seven friends out of the Canadian takeover and they're just lovely people. I absolutely adored them and I actually learned a new phrase, pumpkin, pumpkin time. What time is pumpkin time? I didn't know what that meant. We overheard one of our friends say at dinner, she was like a table over and I'm like, did you just say pumpkin time? What is that? It's like when Cinderella has to, you know, her character is into a pumpkin. It's what time you're going to bed. I'm like, oh, I learned something new. Okay. Anyway, I think the Canadians are just lovely people and I still have it on my bucket list. I want to travel up there and visit them. And a second two partying with the Canadians would be the glow night on the cruise ship because that was electric. It was so fun. Alright babe, time to recap this episode. Alright guys, so we talked about the differences between temptations takeover cruise on the celebrity summit February of 22 versus temptations resort cancun November of 22.
